About Me

Hi, welcome to Samantha’s Kitchen Table.  I started this blog as an attempt to share my love of food with…well….anyone and everyone who ends up here. I am not a trained chef or any kind of food professional, I am however a wife and mommy who is always trying to feed her family healthy and wholesome meals. I love experimenting in my kitchen and creating lightened up versions of all our family favorites.

I was born and raised in the little bitty town of Fredericksburg, Texas, joined the Air Force and was primarily stationed in Arizona, met and married my best friend aka husband Jeffrey in 2007, and moved to Michigan once my service ended. Although I love the south (and you’re sure to see some Texan influence in my dishes) I do love Michigan and love raising our children here. We have three beautiful troublemakers, Jaycie Jo, Elias, and Mya.

I am the most blessed woman alive to be able to stay home and raise them, although I maintain that being a stay at home mom is the most challenging thing that I have ever done. I wouldn’t trade it for the world but it’s quite possible that I have already slightly lost my mind and I’m going to apologize ahead of time for any corny mom jokes and sleep deprived posts. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to look around. I’d love to hear from you and any feedback you might have. Take care and God bless.
