If you are in need of a fudgy brownie fix but don’t want all the extra fat and insane amount of calories that accompany said fix…. You are in luck! I made these chocolatey bites of heaven the other day out of black beans and bananas. No flour, no butter and only 1/2 cup of sugar and I’m telling you….. They are awesome! You absolutely will not find a better brownie that’s under 150 calories that tastes this great.
Super quick, super healthy Chocolate Banana Brownies …. I heart you!
Flourless Chocolate Banana Brownies
- 1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed
- 3 overripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup milled flaxseed
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Opt: 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven 350F
In your food processor, completely puree RINSED black beans and bananas.
Add oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and mix/puree again
Add flaxseed, cocoa, and baking soda and once again puree until smooth.
Divide among greased muffin pan. I got 12 "muffins" or brownies.
Sprinkle on chocolate chips.
Bake 18 minutes or until a toothpick can be cleanly removed.
Cool completely and enjoy.
